A unique view of product and packaging design from Europe was presented in May by d/g* Desgrippes Gobé at the Fringe Club in Hong Kong.

With over 500 unique products on display, grouped according to 7 major design trends (“the 7 Aisles of Innovation”), the exhibit showcased dynamic product concepts, packaging innovation and graphic design that are found today in Europe’s supermarkets.
The event, the first of its kind in Asia, was attended by a cross-section of the Hong Kong community including client marketers, the design community and the general public. The objective of the exhibit was to inspire the creative and marketing community in Asia to innovate. “Asian marketers tend to be more conservative in comparison to Europe”, commented Craig Briggs, Managing Director Asia for Desgrippes Gobe. “Yet consumers in Asia desire new ideas and new solutions that are well-designed. Those who are willing to take risks can have their courage rewarded at the cash register”.
